galvanizing. Though having a much smaller bath capacity as compared to other competitors,
5 Star Galvanizers have been able to carve a niche for itself through its high quality standards
and prompt deliveries which is easily reflected in the long list of satisfied customers.5 Star Galvanizers offers a wide range of services to cater to almost all of customer
requirements, such as :
* Structural (angles, channels, beams etc.)
* Pipes (fabricated railings, headers etc)
* Fabricated sheet metal structures (cable trays, junction boxes etc.)
* Threaded items (bolts, nuts, washers etc)
* Other small articles such as D' Shackles, hangers, small transmission lines hardware
In addition to these, many other customized jobs can be effectively executed. Galvanizing
of all the jobs can be done as per relevant IS, BS, ASTM, DIN or any other specified
standard.The Process for galvanizing employed at 5 Star Galvanizers is a 7 tank process involving:
* Degreasing tank for removal of cutting oils, grease etc.
* Pickling tanks, (4 tanks of Hcl) for surface cleaning of material
* Rinsing tank for washing off excess acids
* Pre Flux solution for preparation of surface for galvanizing
* Zincbath, 3 m x 1 m x 0.8 m
* Quenching tank
* Passivation tank to avoid oxidation of zinc coating.The entire material handling of the jobs is done with the help of EOT crane and two electrical
hoists. Tapping machines, welding transformers, radial drilling machines are also available
for various related activities.Though having come a long way in providing quality services, we at 5 Star Galvanizers are
encouraged to offer you more. For one, documentation for ISO 9002 is underway which is
expected to be completed by this year end. In addition, many other modifications are being
carried out to improve the overall efficiency of the plant.
